Lesson Plans to Empower Educators Everywhere
Our Mission
We are on a collaborative mission to enhance media literacy by expanding the use of Ground News in classrooms and libraries. This form intends to collect lesson plans and curricula from educators and librarians willing to share their resources with the community. So, join us in empowering students to consume news critically.
How It Works
1. Submit Your Lesson Plan: Fill out the form below and upload your media literacy resource.
2. We Review and Format: We'll make minor branding and formatting edits for consistency and ease of use.
3. We Notify You: After your resource is posted, we'll let you know it's available.
4. Share with the Community: Your lesson plan will be added to our shared repository for educators and librarians.
5. Educators Credit You: Educators who use your resource, will cite you as the original author.
Just a friendly disclaimer: This is a work in progress—much like any good lesson plan after its first run! We're focusing on gathering and sharing, and as we learn from you and adapt to the community's needs, we'll keep fine-tuning the process. Consider this an organic project that grows and evolves with your brilliant contributions.
Our Growing Collection
A Heartfelt Thank You
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to you—the educators and librarians utilizing Ground News to modernize media literacy and helping students learn to consume news critically. Your generosity in donating your time and lesson plans to this community allows us to learn and grow together. Without your contributions, none of this would be possible. Thank you for being the driving force behind this collective effort.
Sincerely,
The LibraryUp and Ground News Teams
